Colorado Brewers: Registering Your “Colorado Beer” Just Got Easier

Generic Beer CanRegistering “Colorado Beer” just got easier for Colorado Brewers.  On March 8, 2016, the Colorado Liquor Enforcement Division (LED) announced it will permit Colorado Brewers who manufacture malt liquor and fermented malt beverages who (1) do not have a TTB Certificate of Label Approval (COLA) and (2) are only sold in Colorado (“Colorado Beer”) to submit the product registration via this COLORADO BEER PRODUCT REGISTRATION LINK.  There are no costs associated with the registration and qualified Colorado Brewers may register up to 10 products in a single submission. Prior to March 8, 2016, LED permitted registration via email.  LED announced that Any registrations submitted prior to March 8 via email will be processed and do not need to be re-submitted.  Click here for more information on: When a Beer Needs a COLA.
